RAP is offered as a constructive alternative to jail time for people who receive an OVI (Operating a Vehicle Impaired). RAP provides a 72-hour education course on alcohol and drugs, as well as traffic safety, and helps clients develop a plan for making positive social choices.
In addition to the education course, clients receive a screening for treatment. If suitable, clients will receive a referral for further assessment and treatment in their county of residence.
